The Starting Point
If the design is outdated, pages load slowly, or the site breaks on smartphones, it costs you trust and customers. A relaunch brings the design, technology, and speed up to date.
The biggest concern with a relaunch: losing visibility. Short-term fluctuations are to be expected because Google re-evaluates the new pages—promising zero loss would be unrealistic. However, with clean 301 redirects and the site structure intact, I’m doing everything I can to keep that risk as low as possible.
Websites that have evolved over the years become cluttered, technically fragile, and difficult to maintain. A relaunch creates a clear structure that you can build on again.
The Decision
Patching up an outdated website may seem cheaper—but it becomes more expensive and risky with each passing year. A clean relaunch brings the design, technology, and speed up to a level where you can build on that foundation again.
| Criterion | Patch up the existing website | Clean relaunch |
|---|---|---|
| Appearance | Outdated, inconsistent | modern and in line with the brand |
| Technology | A fragile patchwork | clean, maintainable foundation |
| Tempo | Slow | fast loading times |
| Visibility | Changes Made Without a Plan Can Jeopardize Rankings | 301 redirects and monitoring keep the risk low |
| The Future | is becoming increasingly expensive | a sustainable foundation |
Are you switching systems at the same time? Then moving to WordPress is the right choice—you’ll find details on the migration there.
Scope of Services
I'll review your existing website—content, structure, technology, and search engine rankings—and develop a strategy that preserves what works and addresses any weaknesses.
A modern, custom design with Elementor Pro: responsive, clean, and tailored to your goals—no cookie-cutter look.
A clean WordPress setup, fast load times (Core Web Vitals), and a maintainable structure instead of a haphazard, patchwork design.
Existing content will be carried over, revised, and restructured in a logical way—nothing important will be lost.
Every old URL is given a 301 redirect to its new destination, along with a check for broken links and a controlled go-live. After the switchover, I monitor the rankings and make adjustments—that’s how I keep the risk as low as possible.
Today, we can meet almost any website need based on your specific needs and requirements. Just ask us.
The Path
The Investment
The cost of a website relaunch is calculated on a case-by-case basis, as the amount of work involved depends on the condition of the existing website. It makes sense to start with a brief assessment of the current state of the website, followed by a binding quote with a range estimate based on an hourly rate of €100 (net).
If you’re redesigning your site anyway, incorporating accessibility from the start is more cost-effective than any retrofit—a relaunch is the ideal time to do so. You can find all prices in the cost overview.
Short-term fluctuations are normal with any relaunch because Google first has to reindex the new pages—no reputable expert can promise a relaunch without any loss of traffic. However, I do everything I can to minimize the risk as much as possible: clean 301 redirects from old to new URLs, carried-over metadata, and a preserved site structure. After going live, I monitor the rankings via Search Console and make adjustments if individual pages drop in rank.
That depends on the condition and scope of your existing website. After a brief analysis, you'll receive a binding quote with a range of estimated costs. You can find approximate figures on the Costs page.
No. I'll build the new website in parallel, usually in a staging environment. Your existing site will remain online until the new one is ready and we switch over in a controlled manner.
Yes. Text, images, and structure are carried over and revised as needed. A relaunch is a good opportunity to streamline content and organize it more clearly.
For websites that are severely outdated, a complete rebuild is often more cost-effective than a time-consuming overhaul—from a technical standpoint, a relaunch with me always involves a clean rebuild that incorporates what has already proven successful. I’ll discuss openly with you what makes the most sense in your case.
Not necessarily. If your site is already running on WordPress, I’ll update it there. If you’re coming from a different system or website builder, this will also involve migrating to WordPress—there are dedicated pages for that.
