Web Design for Tradespeople

Websites for master craftsmen, restorers, and artisans—that showcase your work exactly as it is.

Why Many Small Businesses Remain Invisible Online—and What That Costs

Finally visible online—right where customers are searching

Recommendations work—until they don’t. Anyone searching today for “Restorer Berlin” or “Carpenter Prenzlauer Berg” won’t find your business. Yet customers decide who to call in a matter of seconds.

A design that truly showcases your craftsmanship

Template-based websites look generic. No template can convey the care your workshop puts into its work, the quality of your materials, and decades of craftsmanship—that requires a custom design.

New Orders—Even When You're in the Workshop

Without a clear call to action, a contact form, and a well-maintained gallery, visitors will simply drift away. Your website should be working around the clock to attract new projects—even when you’re in the workshop.

Implementation of the WordPress Web Design

For restorers, carpenters, sculptors, and other craft businesses, having their own website is more than just a business card these days—it’s the most important tool for attracting new business, second only to word-of-mouth recommendations. Anyone who can’t be found by searching for “Restorer Berlin,” “Carpenter Friedrichshain,” or “Gilder Mitte” will lose business to companies with a stronger online presence—regardless of the quality of their craftsmanship.

As a web designer and WordPress freelancer, I develop websites for small businesses that credibly convey quality, character, and expertise—built with Elementor Pro. The focus is on a design that showcases your work: a professional portfolio gallery, a clear overview of your services, before-and-after images, and an easy way to get in touch.

This is complemented by the technical foundations: fast loading times, mobile optimization, GDPR-compliant forms, and targeted search engine optimization for profession- and location-specific search queries—in collaboration with specialists such as SEO Freundlich, if desired. This way, customers will find your business exactly when they’re looking for a tradesperson like you.

Responsibilities: WordPress website, Elementor Pro, local SEO, portfolio gallery, ongoing support

4 Steps to Your Skilled Trades Website

1. Analysis of your workshop & target group. In a relaxed kickoff meeting — at your workshop, studio, or via video call — we’ll look at your craft together. Which customers do you want to reach: private clients, architects, museums, or insurers? Which trades and materials are your specialty? We’ll go through existing image material together and plan where it should be supplemented.

2. A concept with artisanal character. You’ll receive an initial web design concept with sample pages — homepage, a services or reference page, and the contact area. Tone, color world, and typography are matched to your craft: restorers need different space than carpenters or gilders. Once you’re satisfied, I’ll build on it. First partial invoice at the end of this phase.

3. Implementation using WordPress & Elementor Pro. I’ll develop your portfolio gallery, before/after presentations, material descriptions, and all other pages. Contact channels are integrated in a GDPR-compliant way, and image material is optimized. On request, I’ll show you how to add new projects yourself — so your website grows with every completed job.

4. Local SEO & Launch. Finally, I’ll set up backups, security, page speed optimization, and GDPR compliance. Local SEO on “Restaurator Berlin,” “Tischler Berlin,” or your specialization ensures you’re found exactly when customers in your region are searching. Redirects for old URLs prevent ranking losses. For future adjustments or new references, you can reach me on an hourly basis.
