Have a WordPress Website Built: Turnkey Solution by a Professional

Turnkey instead of a DIY kit: I handle the concept, design, technology, and implementation—you get a finished, professional WordPress website.

The Starting Point

Build WordPress yourself? You don't have to.

No time, no patience for the technical stuff

WordPress, themes, plugins, hosting—figuring all that out can take days. You’re better off investing that time in your business. I’ll take care of the technical side entirely.

Templates can quickly make a project look unprofessional

Wix, Jimdo, and similar platforms are quick to set up, but they often look like they’re based on templates and have limitations when it comes to customization, SEO, and ownership. A WordPress website, on the other hand, grows with you.

Fear of mistakes and half-finished pages

DIY websites often get stuck halfway through—or go live with errors. With me, you’ll have a dedicated point of contact who will finish the website properly and get it live.

The Decision

Do it yourself or have it done?

Building a website yourself using a website builder is quick—until you get to the parts about customization, technology, and SEO. “Having it built for you” means you skip the learning curve and get a result that looks professional and scales with your business.

Criterion Customize the kit yourself Let me create it for you
Cost to you High – You build everything yourself Low – You provide the input, I build it
Result Template Style Custom, professional design
Technology & SEO Basic Functions Well-structured, with SEO basics included
Ownership Tied to the provider Your website, full control
Support Anonymous Help Center Dedicated, direct point of contact

How much does it cost to have a WordPress website built?

For clearly defined projects, I’ll give you a fixed price; for larger websites, I’ll calculate the cost based on the amount of work involved, with a binding range estimate—at an hourly rate of €100 (net). That way, you’ll know exactly where you stand before we get started.

The price depends primarily on the number of pages, features, and the amount of content you provide. You can find specific examples and all prices in the cost overview.

Frequently Asked Questions About Having a WordPress Website Built

That depends on the scope, number of pages, and features. For clearly defined projects, I offer a fixed price; for larger websites, I calculate the cost based on the amount of work involved, with a range estimate. You can find guidelines and examples on the Pricing page.

No. That's exactly the point: I handle the concept, design, and technical aspects. If you'd like, after the site goes live, I can show you how to update the content yourself—or I can handle the updates for you on an ongoing basis.

Depending on the scope of the project, the availability of your content, and my workload, it typically takes 4 to 8 weeks. After our initial consultation, I’ll provide you with a realistic timeline. In my experience, missing text or images are the most common factors affecting the timeline.

A custom design tailored to your brand using Elementor Pro—no off-the-shelf, cookie-cutter look. If needed, I can faithfully recreate existing templates (such as those from Figma).

Yes, if desired, I will set up the connection directly during the build. It runs via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that allows AI assistants to specifically access WordPress. The AI receives its own account with restricted rights: For example, it can change texts and create posts, but not install plugins or access form submissions. This way, you can maintain your website after launch in plain language, without having to learn the page editor.

You’ll have a dedicated, direct point of contact instead of rotating teams—the person building your website is the one you’ll be working with. However, I don’t offer WordPress consulting without implementation; this service is all about the finished website.

Market rates range from 60 to 120 € per hour. I charge €100 net per hour for web design and website development, billed per quarter-hour or portion thereof, and including communication. For clearly defined projects, I also offer a flat rate starting at €2,490 net.

Images: If you don’t have your own photos and don’t want to buy expensive ones, I’ll handle the image search and provide suitable images from my image database free of charge; for team and practice photos, however, I still recommend hiring a photographer. Texts: I don’t write these myself—they come from you or from a copywriter whom I’d be happy to refer. A proven approach is to start with a rough draft generated by AI and then revise it together: It’s easier to improve an existing text than to fill a blank page.

Yes. WordPress powers about 41 percent of all websites worldwide (W3Techs, September 2026) and is constantly being developed. The market for service providers, plugins, and hosting options is the largest of any system—so you’re never dependent on a single provider. For corporate websites, medical practices, and law firms, WordPress therefore remains the most cost-effective and future-proof choice.

Yes. Once the site goes live, you can log in to the backend as usual and manage the content yourself. I’ll set you up—and if you’d rather leave the technical side to me, I’ll handle the ongoing maintenance.
