I charge an hourly rate: €110 net per hour for SEO analyses and measures. The first step is usually a WordPress SEO audit lasting 4 to 8 hours, which costs €440 to €880 net; from which I derive a prioritized list of actions with a binding estimated time frame. A plugin is just the foundation—it’s not a complete SEO solution. Yoast and Rank Math help with titles, sitemaps, and schema—but the green checkmarks only verify technical compliance. Rankings are driven by technology, content, and structure. I’ll configure the plugin correctly and take care of the rest.

Yes—WordPress offers a solid foundation: a clean codebase, flexible structures, and powerful SEO plugins. What really matters is the implementation: the theme, load time, indexing, and content all have to be just right. That’s exactly where I come in.

SEO is a medium-term process: Technical improvements often take effect within weeks, while changes to content and structure take months to show results. Anyone who guarantees the #1 ranking “in four weeks” isn’t credible. I work transparently and demonstrate progress in my reports.

No ranking guarantees, no purchased link spam, and no short-term tricks that cause long-term damage. Also: I optimize WordPress websites—for other systems or purely strategic SEO consulting, my general SEO page is the right place to start.

Rank Math—I use it on my own website and in most of my client projects. The free version covers titles, meta descriptions, sitemaps, redirects, and structured data; Yoast offers similar features. In my opinion, the Pro version is only worth it if you want to track keywords directly within WordPress. What matters most isn’t the plugin itself, but the proper configuration and the content behind it.
