Web Design for Dentists

A practice website that builds trust, attracts new patients, and noticeably lightens the workload for your front desk team.

The Benefits

A website that turns visitors into patients

Be found when patients search

Anyone looking for a new dentist does a Google search and makes a decision in a matter of seconds. A clearly structured homepage with a visible online appointment booking feature turns that brief moment into a booked appointment.

A Modern Practice, a Modern Image

Intraoral scanners, digital X-rays, gentle treatment methods: Your website should highlight what makes your practice modern. This helps alleviate anxiety about treatment before patients even make their first call.

Services That Patients Can Understand

From preventive care to implants: Easy-to-understand service pages answer the most common questions up front. This builds trust and reduces the volume of calls to your reception desk.

Your Project

Implementation of the WordPress Web Design

Anyone looking for a new dentist first Googles “dentist” plus their city—and decides within seconds which practice inspires trust. If the website looks outdated or doesn’t offer online appointment booking, they’ll go to the practice next door instead.

As a web designer and WordPress freelancer, I develop websites for dental practices using Elementor Pro. My focus is on a calm, trust-building design, clearly explained services, and an appointment booking feature that’s visible on every page.

Especially when it comes to out-of-pocket services such as professional teeth cleaning, teeth whitening, aligners, or implants, the website plays a key role: Information presented in a factual manner and in compliance with the German Health Promotion Act (HWG) answers questions in advance, reduces anxiety about treatment, and generates qualified appointment requests rather than mere price comparisons.

Add to that the technical fundamentals: fast loading times, a secure, GDPR-compliant foundation, and targeted local search engine optimization for “dentist + your city.” This ensures your practice is found exactly where your patients are searching. Do you collaborate with an orthodontic practice or refer patients regularly? My web design for orthodontists shows what a compelling online presence looks like in that context.

Scope of Services

Everything Your Website Needs

The Path

4 Steps to Creating Your Dental Practice Website

1. Analysis of the practice, patients, and positioning. To start, we’ll identify your areas of focus (family practice, implantology, cosmetic dentistry, patients with dental anxiety), your target patient demographic, and the services you offer to self-pay patients. We’ll take the strict German Law on the Advertising of Medicines into account from the very beginning.

2. Concept & Design. You’ll receive one to three sample pages of your future website—with a focus on a calm, trust-building design, clear service pages, and a prominent appointment booking feature. The remaining pages will be created only after you give your approval.

3. Implementation using WordPress & Elementor Pro. I’ll build the homepage, service pages, team and practice sections, directions, and the appointment funnel—including integration with your online appointment booking system, GDPR-compliant forms, and training on how to manage the site yourself.

4. SEO, Security & Launch. Before the go-live: backup system, hacking protection, page speed optimization, and a legally compliant foundation. I’ll tailor the local SEO specifically to your region and your key focus areas, and old URLs will be redirected.

The Investment

How much does a website for dentists cost?

Transparency from the start: You can choose between a clearly calculated fixed price and flexible billing based on actual work performed. The package includes concept, design, and implementation using WordPress & Elementor Pro—with no hidden costs and no off-the-shelf website builder. Upon request, I can collaborate with an SEO specialist and an SEO copywriter.

The cost depends primarily on the scope of the project—whether a basic practice website with an overview of services and an appointment request form is sufficient, or whether a more comprehensive website with online appointment booking, multiple service areas, and in-depth SEO is desired. As a general guide:

Service Price (net)
Practice Website with Services Overview & Appointment Request starting at €3,900
Comprehensive website with online appointment scheduling & in-depth SEO starting at €4,995
Billing by the hour €100/hour
Not sure which package is right for you? During a free initial consultation, we’ll find the right solution for you—including a binding, fixed-price quote.

Frequently Asked Questions About Web Design for Dentists

A professionally designed practice website starts at €3,900 (net). For more comprehensive websites featuring multiple service areas, online appointment booking, and in-depth SEO optimization, the fixed price starts at €4,995 (net). Alternatively, billing by the hour is available.

Yes. I can seamlessly integrate popular systems such as Doctolib, Dr. Flex, or the booking module of your practice software into the design. Alternatively, I can set up a GDPR-compliant appointment request form that forwards requests to your front desk in a structured manner.

Depending on the scope and availability of your content, it typically takes about 3 to 6 weeks—from concept development through implementation to launch.

Yes. Using WordPress and Elementor Pro, you can update text, office hours, and team profiles yourself. If you’d like, I can provide training, or I can handle the updates for you on an hourly basis.

A great deal: Fear of the dentist is one of the most common reasons why appointments don’t happen. A website that calmly explains gentle treatment methods, nitrous oxide, or twilight sedation lowers the barrier to seeking care—and attracts exactly those patients who haven’t visited a dentist in a long time.

Dental websites are subject to the German Law on the Advertising of Medicines (HWG): factual information rather than promises of healing, and no misleading “before-and-after” images. In addition, there are GDPR-compliant forms with encryption—especially for health data—as well as a complete legal notice including professional title and professional association. Your attorney or the dental association can provide legally binding information; I implement these requirements to the best of my knowledge and in accordance with established practice.
