How the project was implemented

For the Berlin-based lingerie boutique Doppel D – specializing in bras in large cup sizes – the complete web design with WordPress and Elementor Pro was developed and search engine optimization (SEO) was implemented based on appropriate and competitive keyword research.

The goal of the web design was a modern, appealing, and trustworthy online presence that optimally conveys both the brick-and-mortar boutique and the quality of consultation. In addition to the design, several technical and content-related features were implemented: custom voucher order forms, the integration of the Instagram feed, a newsletter signup, and comprehensive FAQ sections on relevant pages. Furthermore, the Borlabs Cookie System was integrated for GDPR-compliant embedding of external content. After several years, the second, current web design was also developed.

If you would like to realize or redesign your website with me, the process typically follows these steps:

We schedule a meeting to discuss your requirements and my services.
You provide me with your content (or access to the current website), your corporate design guidelines, and ideally 3 to 5 examples of websites/elements that match your vision.
Based on this, I create sample pages of your new website as a foundation for discussion, which we then review for further web design considerations.
After receiving your feedback on adjustments, I adapt the existing pages and create additional pages, which are then adjusted based on your feedback—until the website is complete. During this process, mobile responsiveness (responsive web design) is also implemented.
Afterward, I implement (if necessary) measures for GDPR compliance (no liability can be assumed) and page speed optimizations, create redirects for your previous pages, and bring your new website online.

Hourly Rates and Booking Options

Billing by Hourly Rate

Hourly billing reflects the actual effort 1:1 and can be more cost-effective, as a buffer and one revision round are usually included in a fixed price. The time billed is that which cannot be spent on other clients (i.e., including communication, but naturally excluding accounting).

If you choose this billing method, I will gladly provide you with an estimate, we can agree on limits or budgets, and I can inform you of the current status at any time. Billing is per started quarter hour and on a monthly basis.

Billing by Fixed Price

We can also agree on a fixed price for your website. This is based on an estimate of the corresponding effort and includes 1 hour of meeting for discussion and one revision round per submitted draft. Further revision rounds will be billed at the hourly rate (see above).

To minimize revision rounds, it is helpful if you have already researched positive examples of your desired web design and prepared the content.
